The STEM Library Space

The STEM Library Space website was created to support the City of PAE Libraries Community Learning STEM and Makerspace Team in response to challenges created by the COVID-19 pandemic. It is now expected by our STEM Learning community, who have become accustomed to accessing information, diagrams, instructions, reference sources, links and files online.

What is STEM?
Science, Technology, Engineering and Maths skills are brought together under the STEM acronym and can also include Arts (STEAM), as creativity is important to innovation and design.

STEM Education is a multidisciplinary approach to hands-on learning in all elements of the field. It uses enquiry learning, problem-solving, self-directed learning and teamwork, where theory and practical skills are combined with critical thinking.
