STEM Squad Zoom! is different from STEM Squad as it is an online experience run when the library is closed during a pandemic or when our regular STEM Squad program at the Library can not operate for extended periods. Children can join in online and get support on how to make things at home or school projects, etc.
Children find out what tools and materials they might need or already have at home, how to improvise common household items or even learn to hack, re-purpose or repair a broken toy.
Children would access real-time live support form Robert Hart our STEM Maker/Hacker specialist, other staff who supported STEM Squad when run in the library.
When this occurs you can register and a link to join the Zoom Web Conference will be emailed to you from Robert each week. For new participants just click on the link sent to you; the app will download and install and you will be joined, no account is required. Use this link anytime during the week.
