Parks Repair Café

Parks Library – Community Room 2
46 Trafford St, Angle Park SA 501

The Parks Repair Café is held on the second Sunday of the month between 1 pm and 3 pm.
Except for January and Public Holidays.

The Repair Café is a free community event where you can get something repaired or even learn to repair and mend broken or damaged items. Save money by reusing or repurposing. Reduce your waste and maybe even gain a skill! We are also a part of the Parks Makerspace, which is open during the week and on Sundays.

The Repair Café is coordinated by our Makers Advisory expert and supported by skilled volunteers who will be involved in the assessment and repair process. Please read and sign our disclaimer. You can download a copy here. The-Parks-Library-Repair-Café-Disclamer.pdf (257Kb)

Talk with our amazingly skilled team of repairs who can repair just about everything from arts and crafts to most household items to electrical appliances and technology. What do we repair? If you can carry it in, we’ll have a go at trying to repair it.

Bookings are not required, but numbers and attendance will be recorded and managed at the door for COVID-19 tracing and social distancing management.

Also, meet other like-minded people, repairers, makers and community makers. We are also seeking more volunteers who would like to help facilitate the sessions and share their skills. If this sounds like you, contact robert.hart@cityofpae.sa.gov.au or visit the PAE Volunteer portal.
